Volunteer
We have had several people volunteer with us in the past, usually for 2-8 weeks. You have to pay your own flight and contribute a little towards your food and board. You stay in the big house at OMF and spend your time either at Taonga School or on the farm/building sites depending on your skills and where you feel most comfortable. You become part of the family during your stay.
Our need for volunteers varies depending on the time of year and how many kids we have. So please be prepared to be told we don't have space at the moment however we always try to refer you to another organisation in the Lusaka Children's Charities group that may need your help. If you're interested in volunteering with us, fill in our enquiry form and we'll get back to you.

Donate
A one-off financial donation can be ideal for someone who wants to contribute but is unable to make the long-term commitment of a sponsor.
We also receive donations of clothes, shoes, books, stationery, foodstuff, building materials, seeds, farm machinery and skilled labour.
Even donating your time to interact one-on-one with a child who may need extra attention is useful.

Last but not least, you can follow us on Facebook and read Abi's blog: 'Love, Hugs and Ringworm' (http://absinzam.blogspot.co.uk/). We also hope to have a blog here on the OMF website soon with various members of the family writing.
