Welcome!
Old MacDonald's Farm (OMF) is a combination of several projects working together on the same site on the outskirts of Lusaka, Zambia. Our projects include:
> A home for ex-street kids and other vulnerable children
> A community school
> A farm using environmentally friendly methods
> A sponsorship programme to allow all the children to attend school

Scottish couple, Don and Christine MacDonald, established and run OMF along with several staff members and volunteers. Although some of the projects have been running in one form or other since 2001, OMF was officially established in 2006 and has been growing ever since. With so many people around and in such a diverse and beautiful country, there is never a dull day on the farm! To find out more about our story, our work and our daily lives click on the tabs above.
To see how you can become involved as a volunteer, as a one-off donor or as a long-term sponsor click on the 'Join the Family' tab. If you want to fill in a query form or you need directions to OMF, it's under 'Contact Us.'
All our projects are members of the umbrella
group Lusaka Children's Charities and
the Zambia Education and Medical Support network.
